Robin Holleran and I just finished a morning horseback safari on Borana Ranch, an exclusive private conservancy in Kenya’s Laikipia region with luxurious rooms and charming and colorful hosts. My favorite part—being on horseback surrounded by wild giraffe. Oh, and of course the morning swim and bush breakfast were just what every Kili climber needs to contemplate the Big Climb that draws near. Here's the view from the private pool off my deck. -- Diane
